Be reasonable: Understand that this forum is not just another internet venue; it is representative of Western Washington University. The University sponsors the forum to promote civil discourse and open dialogue. Posts that inflame others' sensibilities will be removed, and those who use the forum as trolling grounds will not be tolerated.

Be open: Play with new ideas; try believing before doubting others’ perspectives; listen and ask questions before offering judgments.

Be ethical: Respect privacy; avoid deception, libel, or falsities; post only non-copyrighted material.

Be credible: Impress yourself and others by presenting your insights with care.

Be forgiving: We all make mistakes; if something offends you, express a genuine response while giving others the benefit of the doubt.

Be safe: Since the forum is public, avoid posting personal information; use private messaging.

The AS would be nothing without student opinions and voice, so please take this opporuntity to share your ideas to your student representatives so we can continue to make Western a better experience for everyone!

Hey Everyone! I hope that

Hey Everyone! I hope that you have been enjoying all of the events that have been taking place on campus so far this year. I know we have had a whole lot of fun putting them on. We're only about half way through though and we at the Associated Students Productions still have a whole lot of programming left in us.

Please feel free to post on here and let us know who you want to see on campus. Remember, ASP is made up of seven different offices: Pop Music, Special Events, Civil Controversy, Centennial Events, Films, Underground Coffeehouse Concert Series, and the VU Art Gallery. We strive to bring you a wide variety of programming so any and all suggestions are welcomed and encouraged.

And if you have any interest in the process that we go through to plan an event, be sure to check out the Call for Volunteers, hosted by ASP Special Events and Centennial Events. It will take place Tuesday February 10th at 7:00pm on the 5th floor of the VU, right by the post office. This is the perfect opportunity to get involved with the planning process and help ASP Special Events and Centennial Events plan an upcoming event scheduled for later in the quarter.
