Halloween costumes!

Why am I not suprised at your choice of costume? I'm Indiana Jones. Pretty excited, I enjoy halloween maybe just a little too much.

Well, last halloween I was Tom Cruise's character off of Top Gun, Maverick.  I made up the jacket with his name and some patches sewn on and the aviators, everything.  I couldn't come up with an idea for this year's holiday until I told a co-worker about it and he suggested I wear the same outfit and call myself John McCain.... it would be more comfortable than a blazer and dress slacks.

If you want something quick and easy, with a bit of a visual pun, go as a leaf blower. Grab up a leaf off the ground, glue or tape it to the brim of a baseball cap, and start puffing at that leaf. When people ask you what you're doing, well...you'll know how to respond.

I'm gonna be a Newsie.

This year I am going to be Edna from "The Incredibles" all it requires was a black bob wig ($4 at JoAnns) and wearing an assortment of various textured black clothing.

These are some great costume ideas. My personal favorite costume I've ever done was when I was three years old. Everyone called me "Coppertop" because of the red hair, so my mom made me a Duracell battery costume. I still have the turtleneck with the battery decorations at my house somewhere.

I was a slug back in the day. Wear a black garbage bag, tape spots to it, attach a long trail of seran wrap (for the slime), and make antennae out of foam balls. I also carried around a container of salt. It is cheap and easy.

My friend is going to be a Party in his pants...

That's right: he's wearing oversized pants with a hula-hoop inside of them around his waist, and putting many balloons and party favors in his pants...I started laughing really hard when I heard about it.

I also have a friend who's going to be a Christmas tree: stringing her body in christmas lights, putting presents taped to her shoes, and sticking christmas ornaments all over her body, with a star ontop of her head.  Pretty unique!

  Last year  me and my 4 roommates were a taco.  I was the tortilla (cream colored fabric cut into a circle with brown marker spots drawn on) while my roommates were cheese, an avacado, tomato and beans.  It was a hoot.  We topped it off with fake mustaches just because and everywhere we went people loved it!  It was super cheap and easy. 

I will be the solar system this year. Dressed in black with stars painted on, I will hang all of the planets from my arms. All 9. Yes, despite science, Pluto will always be a planet to me.

I'll be Red Riding Hood. Not too original, but the costume I got is really cool. When I showed it to my best frind, he said it looked like I was gnna be Red Riding Hood in a play or something...people might think it's too costumey and not "sexy" enough, but whatever.

Also, for guys....

Get a big box, cut a hole for your head and arms. cut off the bottom flaps so it's open in the bottom so yu can walk around. Wrap it in wrapping paper, ribbon, and a bow. Last touch, attacha tag that reads "to: women, from: God". Ahahahaha.
