easy major to get into

have you talked to the psych department about it? they might be able to give you an override or something like that...

I think it will depend on which classes you have taken because i think most of not all majors require you to take certain courses before applying for their major.  You could also possibly talk to a psychology advisor about this predicament and they might be able to help you.

So I have been in that same situation before...all you need to do is go to Academic Advising in Old Main and they will give you a form to fill out...the form is just going to ask you why you have not applied for your major and when you intend to apply for it...then you just give the form right back to them and they lift your registration hold for you, and you don't even have to sign up for a fake major!

yeah... hopefully that works, but just in case.... anthropology is a really easy major

What is the point of going to school and spending a bunch of money if you don't know what you want to do, or care?  What a waste. 

Some of us come to school to find out what we want to do. And if you were paying attention you would see they do know what they want to they are just having some trouble doing it in a timely fashion. and education creates informed individuals that make an informed country so how can that be a wast?

You need to become a pre-major, and just ask for the pre-major form at the psych office or registration. It is really confusing, and you can always ask your favorite psych prof. if you need help figuring it all out. But to get into 301 you have to be a premajor, and to get into 302 you have to be a major. Hope that helps!
