To the guy with the "Free Hugs" sign

i love the free hugs people! kudos to them!

I got a free high-five once, which made me quite happy. I don't feel quite as comfortable getting a hug from a stranger. But it was still awesome!

I don't care much for hugs from strangers, but anyone willing to go out in Red Square with a free hugs sign is no stranger to me.

yeah, the free hugs rock. Once, I started hugging a free hug person and it turned into a group hug with a bunch of random people. Total love-fest in red square

I usually am not in the mood for much closeness as I walk through Red Square...

But I can never resist a free hug.

 I've never actually recieved a hug because the idea makes me really uncomfortable but life is a little bit better knowing that they are there. 

That guy is my neighbor.

He offers more than just free hugs.

Well it's a good thing they are free... because it would be pretty wrong to have to pay for a hug wouldn't it?

i'm a free hug person!  i've carried my own sign before!  as many people as you get completely weirded out by you, you get the some who really need that hug and appreciate it for what it is.  and that's all that matters. 

i saw mister free-hug-man today in red square just wandering back and forth.  and i thought to myself, what a perfect day for him to be out there.  finals suck, no matter who you are, as a student, you can relate to everyone else around you.  at least for a couple weeks.  as lame as it is, its kinda nice. 

I'm glad people enjoy the hugs.  For those of you who just smile and walk by, that's great too.  Your smiles make the day so much better!

 I got a hug from Bryan today! well, if he was the only guy in red square with a colorful beanie and a free hug sign. anyway it was much needed! lol i actually pretty much hug-tackled him. it was fun! XD  i love the free hug ppl! i almost always get a hug! and high-fives too! you guys rock!

He's got a huge collection of bottles around the apartment. Quite impressive really.

I too wish to live up to that image. I'm too poor for bottles. I can only afford Beast Ice 30 packs. It's a dirty sassy liquor.....ah........so sassy.

as for the "more than hugs," I'm not sure what she's talking about.  I do hugs.  It's probably all I can get away with in red square.

I love free hugs! I'd like to give them out someday, myself, but I'm so shy that I never get around to it, lol.

will be on Thursday around noon.  I'm sure that there will be several people to take up the mantle of the "free hugs guy", but I'm graduating and I probably won't hug people on campus any longer.  I just wanted to say that I'm really grateful to have hugged so many fantastic people.  People like yourselves made my last year at western the best.  I hope your summers are lively and your futures bright.

Because there are people spreading good cheer and vaguely creepy free hug opportunities, I try to keep the balance by spreading random acts of meanness.  Maybe a tire without air here, a condom with a pinprick there.  You know.  Little things.
