Great movie talking about how little Obama is doing for us.

Watch it all the way through before you even attempt to dismiss it as conspiracy. Most of what is said in this documentary is public record.

Apply the main concept: "In fact, I can debunk the entire story with one simple observation:
The fact that this man is alive...
(Picture)
...is proof that "Loose Change" is bullsh*t."

Now, replace "Dylan Avery" with "Alex Jones".  Ta-da!

Mind informing us of what they're talking about?

Those are all his viewpoints; he has those opinions because it would further various objectives, none of them related to another.
I have yet to see the conspiracy in this.

The American government is

The American government is designed to move slowly. In every aspect, one person can slow or flat out stop the process that it's virtually impossible for a politician to change anything. It IS, however, possible for one politician, especially the president, to STOP things from changing via filibustering for senators or veto power for the president.

If you honestly thought Obama could go into office, wave a magic wand and make everything amazing, you are completely failing to understand the American political system. Also, if you are unable to see that Obama has already signed several laws passed by the house and senate that were repeatedly vetoed by Bush Jr., you're just blind.

That's not proof. If people who speak our against government are silenced they are silenced during a period of time in which they can be silenced when it won't look suspicions (before they get too well known and too many people can ask questions).

Case in point that's not proof, and it's no excuse to ignore the issues at hand because you think you're a clever guy.

then you didn't watch the movie.

The point is that we are moving closer and closer to a one world government where big brother has duress and control of the majority of it's citizens, their personal rights and privacy, and most other aspects of government or day to day life.

Wake up and smell the corruption. Obama is here for the Wallstreet investors, the bankers, and the financial elite.

He's connected to the Bilderberg Group and The Trilateral Commission which holds top-secret meetings with private and public leaders to forge public policy (where we can't see it...)

See a problem?

Yay obama overturned a few things.

Our country still sucks. Universal Healthcare is IMPOSSIBLE to even dream of implementing at the moment. We can't afford it and it's too large to manage efficiently. Our education is failing. Social security too.

Get the government out of economic involvement.

What? Universal Healthcare is impossible? But there are models all over the place that work. (Did you not see Sicko?). Also, places like the UK actually spend a lot less (per capita) on health care then the USA, yet the quality is far superior then US health care...

Good Government involvement is essential to good economies. You would see this if you looked at countries where the government has failed completely. It is really impossible to open a business if you are being shot at by warlords. Also, government facilitates the production of other important public goods. Private industries are typically not inclined to do this and private individuals cannot (usually) afford these kinds of expenditures.

I have not been following Obama too closely to be honest, but the guy can speak (which is more then I can say about the last 8 years). I for one am really happy to have a president that is charismatic and intelligent. Give him some time.

Forgot to mention: A conspiracy theory is a theory explaining a historical or current event as the result of a secret plot by a ,usually powerful, cabal. The status is irrelevant to whether or not it is true.  This is a conspiracy.

Coming from the same people who thought the United States government had no logistical or moral qualms about killing thousands of American Citizens, you didn't offer a counter claim; people who are firm believers of conspiracy theories tend to believe people dying for any reason other than natural (or even natural causes) are suspicious.

Furthermore, and most importantly, you don't offer a plan of action, much less a solution.  Thanks for the fun facts (though dubious they may be).  Now what?

Trasparency?

Much obliged...

I often find it difficultt to believe anyone who has changed their name, won't reveal their own birth certificate, and passes the countries largest spending bill of all time, without our OWN congress or the publics' access to read it!  Lovely Barry!

When's the next meetup?!

I used to automatically dismiss "conspiracy theories" until I read Rule By Secrecy. That book is about secret societies like the Bilderbergers and the Trilateral Commission and how connected to the governmet these groups are. Marrs makes a compelling case and backs up his statements with tons of historical info.

It came as no surprise that our two Democratic candidates were both connected to the Bilderbergers (Hilary was the first woman to attend a Bilderberg Group meeting). We were screwed from the very beginning. "Change" right?

Before everyone starts thinking that I'm just spewing some Right Wing bs, W. is connected to secret societies. The fact of the matter is that members of both of the major political parties are part of these powerful secret societies.

Rule by Secrecy...

If you enjoyed "Rule by Secrecy" may I suggest, "Alien Agenda"?!  Ah yes the Bilderbergers and the Tri-Laterals...I was particularly interested in the part that explained the Rothschilds' rise to power...Not the first successful family to change their name.

to recommend a book...

the creature from jekkyl island. it provides a good historical account of the rise of central banking, how it operates and then makes predictions for the future. I dont necessarilly agree with or accept all the views expressed in it, but its a great way to challenge your view of the world.

Conspiracy Theory?

Calling the Obama Deception a conspiracy theory film gives it far more credibility than it could possibly deserve. It's two hours of watching Alex Jones making love to the soap box from Hell. The movie has absolutely no point and they're whole analysis of the Obama administration is based on his first month in office! I love the way this movie includes all kinds of "history" chronicling the history of the shadow government that has obviously been running the nation.Interesting that they claim that all Presidents post Kennedy were the property of the shadow government, except they only mention Carter, Clinton, and Bush. Wow. Two liberals and an unpopular Republican. They don't say a damn thing about Reagan or Bush I! Beyond all of that, they cite nothing. Throughout the whole thing they sprinkle in statements from Democrat, Dennis Kucinich. At no point do they ever use his name or show you his party affiliation, they just take advantage of his intelligence. Next, they blatantly fabricate news coverage by showing all of this phony reporting voiceover over stock footage of politicians in press conferences. The scene in Virginia where they talk about being tailed by the Fed in the BRIGHT BLUE CADILLAC! Come on! This movie is a joke. When he yells at how unbelievable it is that a fire alarm went off in the hotel he was staying at when he thought there was going to be a secret conspiracy meeting...you just want to cry! From laughter...or frustration. I could have shot that in my dorm room. He just makes shit up the entire time and the movie has no central point. Just that there is a shadow government and that Obama is a part of it. The next 2 hours are an endless bombardment of pseudo evidence and flawed logic complete with loaded terms, slippery slopes, interviews out of context, stories fabricated (and impossible to confirm), and they claim the whole reason we don't know any of this is because it's a big conspiracy. COME ON PEOPLE! I sincerely hope that Alex Jones tries harder next time he wants to trick dumbfuck moderates to vote Republican. If you believe anything in this movie...please see a mental health specialist, you are a raging fucktard.

I'd appreciate if you not infer that people that see mental health specialists are stupid or bad. That's unnecessary and is derogatory. Not to mention the word "fucktard".

Don't bring up conspiracy

Don't bring up conspiracy theories in serious discussion. They may be absolutely correct and maybe some Illuminati/Skull and Bones/Shadow Council shit is completely manipulating all politics... but when you bring up the idea of a conspiracy theory, you're arguing something that can neither be proven or disproven. If we're to have political discussion, we have to work in the constraints of the system we've agreed upon. If you want to bring up a conspiracy theory, I'll just say that all our actions are completely manipulated by toxic brain slugs from Mars... the only reason you can't see or feel the brain slugs is because they're controlling your mind. Argument over.

I'd like to apologize

I was frustrated that I wasted over 2 hours watching this bullshit. I was even more disturbed that anyone could conceivably buy into it. I'd like to apologize for making a rude remark about mental health services.  They are an essential service and I believe 80% of people need them at least once in their life. I'm a big fan of the counseling center here on campus. What I was really referencing was that if you buy into this "documentary" you must have some kind of a problem to work out. I mean you're obviously paranoid beyond all get out, have a very negative view of the world, and are probably experiencing some major issues with resentment about your own life experiences. Granted you can all take that diagnosis with a grain of salt given that I'm a poli-sci/comm major and not in any way, shape, or form qualified to make these claims.

I also apoligize for offending people by saying fucktard. However, I'd like to mention that this is the meaning of the word to which I was referring, not the contraction of fuck and retard:

fucktard;

noun,
A person of unbelieveable, inexcuseable and indescribable stupidity.

NOT A CONTRACTION FOR "FUCKING RETARD"! Those who are truly "Retarded" are not responsible for their affliction. True Fucktards are 100% responsible for their situation and provide vast entertainment as they are usually blissfully unaware of their own Fucktardery. Most politicians for example.
One who would actually piss on a live transformer. One who would use a live .22 round for a fuse in their pickup truck "just cuz it fits" and then complain about it shooting them in the nuts.

He shot himself in the nuts? Geez, what a fucktard!

Thank you,

Wyatt
