If only I still played, I'd be all over this. But I applaud you coming out of the nerd closet.

That stupid game is crack. Three years after quitting and I still get the urge.

And if I ever saw someone farming while I was in class, I'd probably lose it. That would make my day. Not that anyone should be playing in class.

Yea, I play World of Warcraft but I am not addicted to it, even after playing for 4 years since the first day of beta. I have multiple 70's, and just one 80 at the moment... I'm also an alt-holic, heh... I'm not a hardcore raider, someone who stays up all night playing... I'm a casual player just taking my sweet time enjoying the game, after all isn't that what we play games for?  

I plan to quit the game end of summer when I head off to graduate school.

But nonetheless, at a school of 15,000+ students, and faculty & staff, I'm sure that there is a huge number of people playing World of Warcrack. Blizzard sure did it right if there's 10 mil subscribers, and that number grows everyday...

I play, I'll admit it.  I never bought WOTLK because I'm poor, but right now I've got a 70 enhance shaman (alliance, arathor) in full bg gear, a twink 69 sub rogue (horde, baelgun), a 69 twink retadin (alliance, arathor) and a twink-in-progress 59 mage.  I've been quitting off and on, I'm sort of waiting for the DK population to die down in the bgs.

 Play Warhammer Online... WOW is old news and for the kiddies

This post makes me miss WoW. I never was incredibly good nor very dedicated, but MAN I loved mining and killing things.

If I got a free month's subscription, I'd totally play again. For now, I'm just waiting for the new version to come out so I can do that free trial. :) How long d'you think I'll have to wait? 2 years? 1?

I've got various other characters on other servers, no idea what or where, though...I don't get much chance to play during the school year, thus the reason for the one character who isn't an 80, even though I've been playing for 3 years.

I don't PvP.  I get screwed over enough in real life, I don't need someone screwing me over while I'm playing a game for enjoyment, too.

I don't RP.  RPing is best done around a table with dice.

I haven't had much chance to raid, since my guild mostly does level 80 heroics and I'm not yet 80.  Proud member of The Red Shirts--Boldly Going Where We Probably Shouldn't.

450 Cooking.  450 Fishing.  450 Leatherworking.  450 skinning.  Got my Chef title just this week, my first title.

I'd be willing to look into starting a WWU WOW guild on some server somewhere.  That'd be cool, and I'd have something to do when my boyfriend isn't online (we're leveling together). 

hahah, if you like unpolished, unbalanced pvp with a poor dev team. daoc's on it's way back, so i might back off wow soon enough.

my home server is bleeding hollow (i hate wow pvp, but friends, sigh). i've got a geared 80 squidgoat tankadin (Zaryi), and a few alts (priest is leveling quickly, should be 70+ within a week and a half).

NO WAY I played DAOC back in high school. I was in one of those gnarly servers where you had to actually talk medieval like though...can't remember what that was called. But it was fun tho. I only had a 42 armsman. I wasn't very good :(

DAOC's a better game than WoW, any day. They just never had the Blizzard name and advertising to back it up. What do you mean its on the way back snoweyes?

However if you or anyone else is an oldschool EQ veteran or wants to give an EQemu a try, Shards of Dalaya is a good game (also it's free).

The graphics of SoD are... very unimpressive.

Howver the gameplay is adequate and the raid and quest content is quite good.

Also, you don't even play MMORPGs; just Pokemon. lol

Yo, I'm definitely trying to get in on a nerd-fest up here!  I have two 80's, both on the Arathor realm.

From the rumors I've heard from my uncle (who's a dev at mythic) and browsing the herald, Origin's is back on track - finally. Also, the announcement a few weeks back about with transfers (and reactivating all old characters if you wish to play them) could/should galvinze some of the old base.

I'm definitely keeping my eyes on it.

I play more because I like figuring things out like new interesting specs in WoW's case... dunno, kinda explored everything I want to in the game. A few friends here from WWU play on Moon guard, but they like to role play more than I do so I dunno how much longer I'll play. If ya want g'head and hit me up, Uncensored on Moon Guard.
