A couple of months ago, my significant other and I were crossing the street from Blockbuster towards the bus stop to head back to campus. This intersection is kind of treacherous, and we've come rather close to getting hit a couple of times by people turning from Bill Mcdonald onto... that... other street there. [/still can't remember street names here >_<] Anyways, this one day, we were talking about how we hoped we wouldn't get hit crossing the street, and sure enough, this one guy was just paying attention to the green light and didn't see us. Luckily we were basically out of the way, but he still managed to roll down his window and yell, "Sorry I almost killed you!" as he passed us by and continued on his way. Both my girlfriend and I began cracking up, and today we cherish the memory of that polite dude.
So here's to you, Mr. "Sorry I almost killed you!" Here's to you for making our day and making a lasting memory and retaining our sense of humor and kind thoughts towards drivers while being pedestrians.

Ah! I've almost been killed there many times:)
