so i haven't taken summer classes before. Is 14 credits too much for the six-week session?

If you have a job too,

If you have a job too, hell yes. If you don't, you'll be working like its a 20 credit quarter. Doable, but your going to die.

I agree. Summer session is

I agree. Summer session is super condensed (sp?) and typically a lot of professors assume that you're only taking his/her course that summer as that's what most people do. If you're an out of state student though the savings can't be beat. If you are able to, I'd consider taking no more than 8 credits.

 I seriously have never ran

I seriously have never ran into problems with taking summer classes in the range of 13 or 14 credits. I'm taking 14 this summer and I'm not worried at all. It all comes down to the same thing it does in the regular academic year: Time Management!

How do the accommodations

How do the accommodations for summer quarter work? I'm an incoming freshman, and I was wondering where one would stay during the summer quarter, etc?

Thank you so much for this comment! This is my first summer taking classes here at WWU, and everyone else's "GOOD LUCK" and words of warning were stressing me out, since I'm taking 14 credits, as well. I'm an effective time-manager and a great student, so at least I know there's hope for me. :)

Thanks again for your positivity!

Most people stay in the Birnam Wood Apartments or Buchanan Towers dorm- you just need to contact student housing for stuff like that. But in all seriousness, in the summertime your best bet is to sublet an apartment from someone, it's WAAAAAY cheaper.
