Here is what I did a couple years ago. Pretty scary and original if I dare say myself. In addition, it was a good review for my first quarter calculus.

That's going to be awesome! I'm going as one of the Muses from Hercules. Be sure to watch for a bunch of us singing across campus around 4:30 on Halloween and then again later in the night. We'll be singing Disney songs.

I think I might be a hipster/music pirate (a friend of mine had a birthday party where everyone was assigned a letter and had to come up with a costume starting with it; I got "P" and decided on "pirate"... of music). Tight jeans, flannel, leather jacket, headphone, scarf, big/stupid sunglasses. It's a little bit of a cop-out costume, but I can't think of anything better. Ideas?!?

Anything is better than this. I want someone to go as Esteban, the masked crusader of HSN guitar playing. Or, a redhead to go as Gingervitus and hand out toothbrushes. Or ANY character from Trailer Park boys (which would be easy and hilarious).

I'm going to be a Jedi. I already tested out my costume at Late Night on Wednesday and people seemed to like it, so I'm going to try to wear it all day Friday, too. Lightsaber and all!

Just a human Jedi, though. A couple years ago my sister and I made stuff for a Twi'lek costume--headtails and everything--but we couldn't find a facepaint that both worked well and was cheap. It was kind of lame because we spent so much time on the headtails just to have it all go down the drain like that. Oh, well.

One of my friends was talking about dressing as Julian from TPB-- it's a good excuse to have a drink in your hand all night haha.

Ron Burgandy...and my roomate is Brian Fontana.  We're gonna find some karaoke bars  so that we can butcher "afternoon delight".  The costumes are perfect - i just need a mic or a "yazz flute" to top it off.

 I'm going to be the classic Disney princess Snow White.  Hair, cape, and everything. =]

A cooler costume though, is my bf is going as Riku from Kingdom Hearts. haha

I am going to be Turk from Scrubs! I already got pretty good reviews from FASA so I figure its a good get up.

I had no idea, so my roommate suggested I get some skintight vynil, latex, or leather pants and some liquid latex body paint and just paint myself a skintight rubber suit. I didn't know where to get the pants though, so I went to Goodwill to try and find some; didn't find any, but I did find an awesome trenchcoat for $12. Now the decision comes to either Humphrey Bogart in 'Casablanca' or Rorscach from 'Watchmen.' As of now, I could do either.

I know, I know. That's kind of the point. I can't really get into Halloween. I mean, I usually think other people's costumes are really cool, and I want to dress differently than I normally do, but I don't have much clothing, and I don't feel like buying anything I'll only wear once or twice a year if it's not necesary.

I will be going as Kaylee from Firefly.  I tried out the costume at a Birthoween party last Saturday and everyone who got it loved it. It is definitely a geeky costume (along the lines of Dr. Horrible, which is awesome BTW) and only those with geekish tendencies will get it...so definitely no one in my major. I'll probably be sporting it on Friday just because it's an awesome costume and I want to get as much wear out of it as possible.

I used to dress up but one can only dress up like a monk so much.  I did see two awesome costumes last year.  One guy pulled off an authentic looking the Joker and the other guy was an awesome looking Tyrone Biggums.

I'm going to be a cop. So is anyone dressing up as a construction worker, chief, biker, or cowboy? Because that would just make my Halloween if I could have a village people reenactment

I will be going as shrek.  People tell me I have the face for it lol.  Got the skin paint, and the outfit and everything EXCEPT I couldn't find any shrek ears at value village =/.  If somebody has like a souvenir pair that they could lend or sell to me by FRIDAY at 9, that would be awesome.

I love this! Great idea. I was gonna go as Caprica this year but didn't have time to put the outfit together and dye my hair. I am most CERTAINLY doing it next year though.

I'm going as a james bond girl (my british friend is going as James Bond) after we've killed all the bad guys!!!

I got a royal blue evening gown that is slitted up the thigh, fake 9MM pistol, and I'm gonna be covered in dirt, blood, and bruises. :)

I'm going to be Robin Hood! I've got a simple green dress, sword, leather belt, boots, and grey leggings. I'm still in search of an awesome hat, but I'll probably end up making one.

I'm going to be a prawn from District 9. Spent 3 weeks straight making my costume... I figured its a new enough movie and a challenging enough costume for almost no one else to try.

I'm going as Miss Piggy - shiny dress, blonde wig, pink ears, evening gown gloves, jewelry, and a little Kermit the Frog. I might make him a tuxedo shirt or a =w= tee.

A bow and arrow would be fun for robin hood!

Haha, Jamaica I was the Sailor from the village people last year (or, well the navy one). It was so much fun. We had a group do it.

This year, I'm going to be Alphabet soup :) I'm so excited.

I was a pretty bitchin' pirate.  I made it mostly from stuff I already had too.  All I needed was the hat.  I got a TON of compliments while out trick or treating.  One guy, who was dressed as a ninja, kept giving me dirty looks.  It amused me.
