Hey I'm a freshman and I am looking into taking economics 206 next quarter. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for which professors to try to get and any idea of how difficult the class load is. I'm looking at maybe taking a section with Dupont or Henson? Thanks!

DO NOT TAKE THE CLASS WITH RITA RAY
Dupont is absolutely awesome. Highly recommended
DO NOT TAKE THE CLASS WITH RITA RAY
Everyone keeps saying this, but I don't know, her class was pretty easy. I guess if you can't adapt to thick accents, this is not the teacher for you.
If Storer is teaching it, take him.
I had Steve Henson and he was really great.
I thought the class was pretty easy, but some people had trouble. I think it was just one of those classes where, since homework isn't collected, a lot of people didn't do it and ended up doing poorly.
I have Oertel, in fact, I'm writing this while sitting in the class. He's relatively dynamic and I don't get bored in the class -- a huge plus for me. He's quite good at explaining complex subjects, and uses relationational stories, a technique I've been told is very effective for teaching. The best indicator, is that I would be quite willing to take a class tought by him again.
